New Horizon Academy – Lake Street Earns 2017 MSCA Starr Award

New Horizon Academy on Lake Street in Minneapolis was awarded the 2017 MSCA Starr Award for best exterior retail renovation/remodel under 20,000 square feet. All entries for the 2017 MSCA Shopping Center Tribute Award for Retail Real Estate are judged and reviewed by a group of industry specialists, experts and peers who are closely involved with retail real estate.

In 2015, New Horizon Academy took ownership of a dark and dank building in South Minneapolis, Champion’s bar and banquet space. The building, which is located on heavily trafficked Lake Street, has gone through a major transformation and has brought a whole new look and feel to the neighborhood.

The new state-of-the-art building offers a bright and modern exterior with a large green space, something that is unique to New Horizon Academy in this urban area. Inside of the building teachers care for and educate infants through school agers.
