New Horizon Academy Joins Uptown, Minneapolis Community

PLYMOUTH, Minn. – On Thursday, March 2nd, 2017, New Horizon Academy will open its doors to the community of Uptown, Minneapolis with a brand new multi-story, state-of-the-art early learning school located at 2431 Hennepin Avenue South.
Teachers will care for and educate more than 150 children ages 6 weeks through 4th grade between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The school features safe, attractive, and age-appropriate classrooms and playgrounds that are thoughtfully designed to enhance learning through play. One of the most unique features of this location is the second level play deck that is home to separate toddler and preschool playgrounds.

New Horizon Academy on Hennepin Avenue South is one of two new Minneapolis locations to open this year. “With the help of the new and innovative State Early Learning Scholarships, New Horizon Academy has been able to continue our expansion to serve more families in south Minneapolis,” said Chad Dunkley. The second south Minneapolis location on West Lake Street, opened in January of 2017.
