New Horizon Academy Attends 2024 Advocacy for Children Day

On Monday, April 15th, New Horizon Academy attended United Way’s 2024 Advocacy for Children Day at the Minnesota State Capitol. This event is held annually as an opportunity for children, parents, and early childhood professionals to speak with state legislators and advocate for affordable and accessible childcare.
Over 35,000 children in Minnesota lack access to quality childcare and early education programs. New Horizon Academy has long been an advocate for childcare access and creating opportunities for young children from all socio-economic backgrounds. We’re proud to work alongside other local and national organizations to build awareness and create change.
New Horizon Academy takes great pride in advocating for our children, and it was an honor to represent them during this year’s Advocacy for Children Day.
