7 New Horizon Academy Schools Receive Accreditation

New Horizon Academy is proud to announce that seven of our nationally recognized schools achieved accreditation during the second quarter of 2023. Six of these schools were accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). One school received accreditation through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA).
Accreditation is an important distinction awarded to schools that exhibit compliance with the highest standards of quality in childcare and early education programs. The accreditation process is conducted by an outside organization that performs classroom visits, health and safety checks, and careful program assessments to determine whether or not accreditation will be granted. Childcare centers that have passed the assessment receive accreditation for a five-year term.
What does accreditation mean for your child?
- The highest quality in education and developmental programs for young children
- Increased school-readiness skills and greater success in school
- The best practices in early childhood education
- The best practices in health and safety
- Standards that far exceed the highest requirements for state licensing
