12 New Horizon Academy Schools Receive Accreditation

New Horizon Academy is proud to announce that 12 of our nationally recognized schools achieved accreditation during the first quarter of 2023. Four of these schools were newly accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Six of the schools received reaccreditation through NAEYC, and two schools were reaccredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA).
Accreditation is an important distinction awarded to schools that exhibit compliance with the highest standards of quality in childcare and early education programs. The accreditation process is conducted by an outside organization that performs classroom visits, health and safety checks, and careful program assessments to determine whether or not accreditation will be granted. Childcare centers that have passed the assessment receive accreditation for a five-year term.
What does accreditation mean for your child?
- The highest quality in education and developmental programs for young children
- Increased school-readiness skills and greater success in school

- The best practices in health and safety
