The West Des Moines New Horizon Academy is conveniently located off University Avenue and 92nd Street in West Des Moines, Iowa. We have been serving families in West Des Moines, Clive, Urbandale, Waukee, Adel, and surrounding areas with quality daycare and early education since 2018. Our West Des Moines childcare center offers nationally accredited learning programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. All of our childcare classrooms utilize an age-appropriate curriculum, which incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. Awards and Accolades
I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.
