New Horizon Academy Minneapolis-Marquette is located conveniently off 1st Street and Marquette Avenue in the downtown west neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, right near the Mississippi River. As one of six New Horizon Academy locations in Minneapolis, we have been serving families in the Twin Cities with quality childcare and early education services since 1989. Our school offers learning programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, including infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten options. At our Minneapolis childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.
