We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our school family in Lakeville.
Wage Range: $20.55 - $24.55/hour (DOQ)
All applicants MUST:
• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or CDA certification to qualify as a Teacher under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work full-time (about 40 hours/week).
• Have a passion for working with children!
*Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.

The Lakeville, MN New Horizon Academy is conveniently located off of Cedar Avenue, 175th Street West and Dodd Boulevard. Our newly renovated Lakeville daycare opened in 2007, is accredited by the National Association for Young Children, and holds a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware. Our Lakeville childcare center has one infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, and four preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. All of our childcare classrooms use an age-appropriate curriculum, which incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. We utilize age-appropriate learning modules to prepare children for kindergarten and life beyond! We’d love to meet your family and show you our beautiful daycare classrooms. Awards and Accolades
I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.
