New Horizon Academy Celebrates Ground Breaking of Downtown Des Moines School
PLYMOUTH, Minn. – New Horizon Academy, family-owned and operated child care provider, is breaking ground on its first Iowa school located at 450 SW 9th Street in Des Moines. The new school in downtown Des Moines joins more than 60 locations in and around the Twin Cities of Minnesota, as well as four locations in Idaho.
The ground breaking ceremony took place at the new site on Wednesday, December 6th, at 10:30 a.m. Members from New Horizon Academy, Estes Construction, and Des Moines East + South Chamber were present, along with many more community members.

The new Downtown Des Moines school, which is anticipated to open in the spring of 2018, will care for and educate children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.
