New Horizon Academy’s Own, Penny Allen, Named 2018 CFO of the Year Honoree

PLYMOUTH, Minn. – (November 14, 2018) New Horizon Academy CFO, Penny Allen, was selected by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as a 2018 CFO of the Year Honoree.
Each year the Business Journal recognizes the Twin Cities’ top financial executives from companies large and small. These executives are evaluated by a panel of other financial leaders who score them on their contributions to their company and the community as well. This year, Penny was among more than 20 other prominent executives in the workforce to be honored with this elite award.
Penny has been with New Horizon Academy for 24 years now and she plays a very crucial role on the leadership team. Known at New Horizon as the “CFO with a heart,” Penny is very active in her support of charitable causes such as Children’s Minnesota and the Susan G. Komen foundation.
